Baltimore Showcase

The event that will shape your summer

The Baltimore Summer Showcase attracts elite talent and college coaches to the unofficial start of the summer recruiting season. Showcase Lacrosse runs professional events at elite venues, and this Showcase will occur at the home of perennial NCAA tournament participant Towson University.

The Baltimore Summer Showcase features elite 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025 grad year players from across the country. All participants will enjoy the best exposure, education, and experience possible. Apply today to experience the NXT difference at the Baltimore Summer Showcase! This event is open to any and all participants in the respective grad years.

Event Highlights

The goal of Showcase Lacrosse is to provide exposure & education for young athletes. Our Showcase events have historically been the most well-attended events of the year. The Baltimore Summer Showcase is held at Towson University, which features four lighted turf fields, which means the weather will not be an issue at this event.

Each Showcase participant receives a Nike gear package upon checking into the event. Each team will be led by a prominent high school coach from the surrounding area as well as a college coach. In addition to participants' team coach, college coaches will lead all skills clinics and recruiting talks, providing players with an opportunity to work directly with them.

The Draft

I. Our Process
The Showcase is open to any and all participants in the appropriate grad years. We collect both an application as well as a nomination from the athlete's high school or club coach. This allows us to learn about the player through their highlight film, in addition to gauging their abilities from the perspective of a coach. After you send in your application/nomination, we review them and send you details on how to register.

If the selections from the prior round of the Draft do not register before the dates below, their spot will no longer be guaranteed. This is a first-come, first-serve basis registration.

II. Invitation Dates
This event is open to any and all participants in the corresponding graduation years. Invitations will be sent out on a bi/monthly basis according to the following schedule:

Baltimore Showcase

  • Round 1 - November 28, 2020
  • Round 2 - December 19, 2020
  • Round 3 - January 16, 2021
  • Round 4 - February 13, 2021
  • Round 5 - March 13, 2021
  • Round 6 - April 17, 2021

Showcase All-Star Evaluation

We have three evaluators watching every game. The evaluators are simply given a list of players and numbers and are not given any information about where a player is from or who they play for.  The evaluators are not stat-counting, but rather grading the players on the skills and attributes needed to be a successful college lacrosse player. At the end of the morning session, we run all the numeric grades through our program to select the All-Stars.

Due to the recently extended NCAA DI recruiting dead period, Division I coaches will NOT be allowed on the sidelines at ANY RECRUITING EVENT during Summer 2020. NCAA DII & DIII coaches may still attend. As a result, NXT will LIVE STREAM and make ALL GAME FILM available to COLLEGE COACHES around the country. Along with the game film and live stream access, coaches will also receive a FULL RECRUITING PACKET just as if they were at the event.

NXT is still committed to providing athletes with top-level exposure at our recruiting events. We are proud to be partnered with industry-leading Next Level Video to help ensure athletes are still getting in front of college coaches this summer.

EVERY GAME at the 2020 Baltimore Showcase will be live-streamed, filmed, and distributed to college coaches.

Next Level Video is our exclusive video provider for this event. Games will be professionally filmed in HD from an elevated angle and several game film and highlight reel packages are available. Order before the event to lock in discounted early-bird rates.

The Baltimore Showcase will still be fully staffed with college coaches. While no NCAA DI coaches will be allowed to attend, NXT plans to staff events with NCAA DII & DIII coaches.
