Schedule and Rosters
The schedule will be announced closer to the event. Once announced, plan your trip, and make sure you don't miss the match-up you've been waiting for.
The Philly Summer Showcase spotlights players in NXT's highly popular individual showcase format. The Philly Summer Showcase will feature elite talent from 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023 graduation classes.
Now in its fifth year, the Philly Summer Showcase continues to provide exposure & education for young athletes. Our Showcase events have historically been the most well-attended events of the year. The Philly Summer Showcase is in Downingtown, PA and is played on four lighted turf fields, assuring weather is not an issue.
Each participant will receive a Nike gear package and will be coached by an NCAA College coach. In addition to participants' team coach, College Coaches will lead all skills clinics and recruiting talks, providing players with an opportunity to work directly with them.
I. Our Process
The Showcase is open to any and all participants in the appropriate grad years. We collect both an application as well as a nomination from the athlete's high school or club coach. This allows us to learn about the player through their highlight film, in addition to gauging their abilities from the perspective of a coach. After you send in your application/nomination, we review them and send you details on how to register.
If the selections from the prior round of the Draft do not register before the dates below, their spot will no longer be guaranteed. This is a first come, first-serve basis registration.
II. Invitation Dates
Invitations will be sent out on a bi/monthly basis according to the following schedule:
Philly Summer Showcases
III. Positions at Capacity
Due to high demand, many positions fill up quickly. If we reach capacity and are no longer accepting applications for your position at the summer Showcases, we will open up waitlist. Details on registering for the waitlist will be posted here as well as communicated through email.
We have three evaluators watching every game. The evaluators are simply given a list of players and numbers and are not given any information about where a player is from or who they play for. The evaluators are not stat-counting, but rather grading the players on the skills and attributes needed to be a successful college lacrosse player. At the end of the morning session, we run all the numeric grades through our program to select the All-Stars.
Top high school talent in the country traveled to Downingtown, PA this past summer for the 2018 Boys Philly Summer Showcase, one of the premier showcases on the summer circuit. The 49 coaches in attendance represented 47 NCAA institutions Including 19 Division I, 7 Division II and 21 Division III schools.
