Job Description
NXTsports is seeking a Customer Assistance Intern interested in gaining customer service and financial experience in a youth sports setting. The position allows the individual to play a critical role in the coordination of college coach recruiting books essential for NXT’s recruiting events and also in understanding and processing customer queries and requests. This position will have a hands-on role in assisting in preparations and management for the nation’s most elite lacrosse events.

The Customer Assistance Intern is responsible for supporting the Customer Data Manager with oversight over all aspects of the NXTsports registration system. This position requires an individual with excellent communication skills, high attention to detail, the ability to work under strict timelines, and a strong work ethic. This role will allow you to gain experience with one of the nation’s leading sports events management companies. Lacrosse experience is not necessary but highly valued. Applicants must be willing to work nights and weekends and must have lodging in the Philadelphia area with access to transportation.


  • Provide customer service over the phone or via email for individuals who need assistance completing waivers, updating their waiver information, and/or completing payments for events, club, or education registrations

  • Work with Sales Directors to ensure the timely receipt of event rosters and format rosters to prepare for college coach recruiting binders

  • Print and pack college coach sign-in books, college coach recruiting books, and other necessary materials

  • Complete data requests by exporting and importing into CRM as needed to support Sales & Marketing efforts

  • Assist with pre-event communication

  • Assist in the creation of registration links for club tryouts and events launches

  • Other responsibilities deemed necessary by the Customer Data Manager 

This job operates in a professional office setting as well as at outdoor sporting events. You must be able to stand, kneel, or bend for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers and camera equipment, as well as sports equipment including ball buckets, goals, tents, tables, boxes containing apparel, etc.

The internship will run during the months of end of May through August.


  • Current Student at a 4-year accredited University or College or recent college graduate

  • Must have Excel experience
