Who we are:
NXT a leader in the youth sports marketing has an opening for an Equipment Manager. NXT differentiates itself in the marketplace by offering year-round programming, with a focus on Events, Educational Programs and our Club Teams. Our mission is to make the experience matter in everything we do. NXT has grown over the last 10 years to a company that runs 80 lacrosse camps and clinics, 25 boys and girls club lacrosse team and 41 lacrosse tournaments and recruiting Showcases across the country.

The Position:
The Marketing Internship is primarily responsible for digital and social media content for NXT. The primary responsibility is assisting our Marketing Department in day-to-day operations.  

Duties:

• Assist in the creation and distribute marketing emails for all NXT functions.

• Create blog content for NXT website including pre- and post-event recaps.

• Execute social media strategy initiatives on Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter including photo uploads, engagement, promotions and link sharing.

• Make NXT website updates as needed for general changes and launches.

• Provide VP of Marketing and Director of Marketing with industry marketing trends.

• Photography presence and assistance at necessary events to collect assets for marketing purposes.

Work Environment:
This job operates in a professional office setting as well as at outdoor sporting events. You must be able to stand, kneel, or bend for an extended period of time. Lift up to 25 pounds. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and camera equipment. This position requires a valid driver’s license.

Expected Hours of Work:
This a paid, part-time non-exempt position. The hours of work will vary and will be assigned by the Vice President of Marketing. Must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays as required.  Start date is May 20 to August 6, 2019.

Required Education and Experience

• College degree from an accredited 4-year University or College

• Photography and graphic design experience is a plus

• Sports background is preferred but not required
