Summary/Objective
The Vice President of Marketing must have a deep knowledge of brand marketing, digital marketing and lead multiple strategic initiatives. Lead the marketing department to deliver high quality, high-impact campaigns, ongoing brand awareness initiatives, and special projects.
Essential Functions
Create and distribute marketing emails for all NXT functions.
Take ownership of the NXT brand and provide vision, mission, and strategies.
Create blog content for NXT website including pre- and post-event recaps.
Manage the marketing team and their daily activities. Develop professional learning opportunities for the department.
Manage social media presence on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter platforms and direct programs to improve social media reputation and recognition including but not limited to engagement, photos, link sharing, and promotions.
Make all NXT website updates as needed for general changes and launches.
Develop, oversee, and implement the division’s annual spending to ensure compliance with the budget. Report regularly to COO on progress as part of standard reporting monthly meeting.
Photography presence and assistance at necessary events to collect assets for marketing purposes.
Track, analyze, and report on email performance using Google Ads and Analytics.
Provide assistance in the LeagueApps tool as needed.
Work with Next Level Video for NXT video requests to ensure videos are on brand and deadlines are met.
Oversee logo creation and updates.
Manage and foster corporate partnerships.
Research and develop new advertising opportunities.
Manage third-party vendor relationships.
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office setting as well as at outdoor sporting events. You must be able to stand, kneel, or bend for an extended period of time. Lift up to 25 pounds. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and camera equipment.
Position Type/ Expected Hours of Work
This a full-time exempt position the hours of work are Monday through Friday 9am to 5pm. Must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays as required.
Required Education and Experience
College degree from an accredited 4-year university or College
Minimum of 10 years of Marketing Experience
Minimum 5 years of managing others
