NXT Goalie Academy Training is a program that coincides with summer Play Fast or NXT Lacrosse Academy camps based on grad years, for goalies looking to take their game to the next level.  Our unique curriculum provides goalies the opportunity to work on the fundamental positional skills, that will help you achieve maximum results. Mini clinics are open to players from any teams and clinics will occur during fall, winter and spring seasons.

BENEFITS & SKILLS LEARNED

  • Ball tracking, hand speed, and hand-eye coordination drills. 
  • Punching drills focused on taking a direct path to the ball and using a dynamic lead hand. 
  • Increasing your agility and quickness translating to a quicker ball reaction.
  • Decreasing and cutting the angles off the shooter to allow a higher percentage save 
  • Tips for saving the inside shot, the outside shot and the low angle Crease Roll. 

CURRICULUM

NXT Goalie Academy participants will learn techniques and tips from some of the best coaches in the game!  From agility drills to positional training like defending the crease roll, our goalies will improve in every facet of play.
