The Nike Girls Philly Showcase Camp's exciting and unique format allows each girl the opportunity to play with new players from all over the country and to be coached by NCAA Coaches. The camp is open to any and all girls who fit into the appropriate age groups!
Players will attend a skills clinic and play in three games throughout the day. All games at the Philly Girls Showcase are professionally filmed in high definition by Next Level Video and a complete video package is available for all participants, perfect for preparing athletes for the college recruiting process.
Players compete throughout the day for their chance to secure a spot on the elite All-Star team where they'll be awarded a Nike prize pack covered by the cost of attendance and the opportunity to go head-to-head against the nation's top competition.
The Showcase Camp will take place at United Sports in Downingtown, PA - an elite facility with indoor bathrooms, lunch break with vendors, field coordinators, certified officials, and turf fields.
The 2019 Nike Girls Philly Showcase weekend attracted 85 college coaches to the sidelines. Included in the line-up were Gary Gait, head coach of Syracuse University, and Kateri Linville of the 2018 NCAA Champions, James Madison University. In total, 36 NCAA DI schools were represented on the sidelines
Showcase Lacrosse provides an educational component at every event. The Showcase includes an informational session led by a coach on the college recruiting process and the demands of being a college lacrosse player. All individual teams will be coached by a college coach.
We have three evaluators watching every game. The evaluators are simply given a list of players and numbers and are not given any information about where a player is from or who they play for. The evaluators are not stat-counting, but rather grading the players on the skills and attributes needed to be a successful college lacrosse player. At the end of the morning session, we run all the numeric grades through our program to select the All-Stars.
Before the All-Star game, all goalies are invited to participate in an elite goalie competition known as the Queen of the Crease. Goalies will be surrounded by their peers and college coaches and each get 6-shots on goal by college coaches. Those with the most saves will advance until the final round. The winner will receive an exclusive gear prize and bragging rights for the year!
Next Level Video is our exclusive video provider for this event. Games will be professionally filmed in HD from an elevated angle and several game film and highlight reel packages are available. Order before the event to lock in discounted early-bird rates.
