The First Girls-Only Box Event on the East Coast

Introducing the Connecticut Box Championships - the first exclusively girls box event on the East Coast. As the sport continues to expand NXT strives to give girls a best-in-class experience in the rink.

Connecticut neighbors multiple lacrosse hotbeds including Long Island, New York State, and Massachusetts which ensures top-level competition without a difficult trip. Come battle the top girls box programs in the country. 

We think about the details so you don't have to.

Family-Friendly Scheduling:  Each division will be completed in the morning or afternoon block of games. Half of the day in the rink, the other experiencing Connecticut & the surrounding areas.

Gameplay

  • Three 10-minute periods with two 3-minute breaks 
  • Teams play 5 v 5 (plus goalies)
  • Faceoffs after every goal
  • Championship format - 3-game guarantee
  • Boys division on January 14-15

Oakwood Sports Center

40 Oakwood Drive, Glastonbury CT 06033 / Located in Glastonbury, a few miles from Hartford, the sports complex has four indoor box rinks, a snack bar, bleachers, observation area seating, and locker rooms.
