Can-Am Showcase Player Preview

The 10th annual Can-Am Showcase takes place this Saturday, November 9th, 2019 at the Detroit Country Day School.

The 2019 Can-Am Showcase takes place this Saturday, November 9th, 2019 at the Detroit Country Day School.

The name of the event – The Can-Am Showcase – reflects the event's inclusion of elite players in the graduation years of 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023  from both the United States and Canada, particularly the lacrosse hotbed of Southern Ontario. All players will be divided into teams, each coached by a DI college coach, and will have the opportunity to showcase their talents in front of the college recruiters in attendance.

After a rigorous vetting process, top high school players from across the Midwest were selected to compete in the individual event. The players will compete on just two fields, including a full indoor fieldhouse, maximizing their exposure to the college coaches. Featured below are a few players to look out for.

Piotrowski’s combination of size and his quick stick will make it very difficult for shooters to find the back of the cage on Saturday.
