2019 Mid-America Showcase Player Preview

Top high school players from the Mid-Atlantic and nationwide have been selected to compete this Friday, June 28th. Featured are a few players to keep an eye on throughout this one-day event.

The MidAmerica Showcase is this Friday, June 28th, and kicks off an eventful weekend at state of the art facility, Grand Park in Westfield, Indiana. The Showcase attracts elite talent and college coaches from across the country.

This year's MidAmerica Showcase is expected to host 100 athletes with last year's event hosting 33 college coaches from the Division l, ll and lll level. With an expected 3:1 player to coach ratio, the athletes will be able to maximize their exposure to college coaches. Each team will be lead by a college coach as well as a prominent high school coach from the area. The showcase will feature athletes from the 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023 graduation years.

After a rigorous selections process, top high school players from the mid-Atlantic and nationwide have been selected to compete this Friday, June 28th. Brett Manney, captain of the NE Blackwolves and VP of Recruiting & Sales for NXT, has selected the following athletes to keep your eye on this Friday.

BEN WILEN | 2020 | Attack
Walter Payton College Prep | East Ave

A sneaky lefty attackman who played in our Mid-America Invitational last year, Wilen has a knack for the goal. When he dodges hard towards the net he usually finds a way to get his shot off.
