2022/23 ATTACK

Mark Marino | 2023
Don Bosco Prep (NJ), NJ Riot

Marino has been a staple at our showcase events and the southpaw sure knows how to showcase his skills. He has great size and is confident with the ball in his stick to make plays or will be the beneficially of many easy looks being a lefty attackman as well. Unlike many traditional lefty attackmen, Marino likes to initiate the offense from the wing or behind by using his size to get a shoulder into you or a quick inside roll to get his shot off. Don Bosco’s program has gained a lot of attention lately and with Marino’s rise in his game, he will as well.

Honorable Mention

Luke Davis, 2023, Franklin (MA), Piatelli
Keegan Lynch, 2023, Baldwinsville (NY), Upstate Salt Kings
Justin Wixted, 2023, Spring-Ford (PA), Dukes

2022/23 MIDFIELD

Ryder Villani | 2023
Red Bank Regional (NJ),Tri-State

As a sophomore Villani put up over 60 points as a sophomore for Red Bank in a do it all fashion. He is most comfortable initiating with his right hand with a quick first step hitch to get his hands free to shoot but his constant contributions all over the field. Whether it was playing defense, the wings on faceoffs, or riding the ball back, Villani is a heady player that contributed to his team all day. With more development of his left hand and added strength, the New Jersey native will be able to impose his will more than ever and if that is the case, it will be scary for opposing teams.

Honorable Mention

Brendan Poirier, 2023, Rivers School (MA), Fighting Clams
Jay Rualo, 2023, Westtown School (PA), Nationals
Griffin Edwards, 2023, Avon Grove (PA), Rising Sons

2022/23 DEFENSE

Chase Gregory | 2022
Brewster Academy (NH), 4leaf

Chase is a great lacrosse player. The LSM just has a knack for the ball and always seems to make plays all over the field. Within the first 10 minutes of the All-Star game, he already had a goal and a fast break assist. He has an active stick in the passing lanes and is a vacuum on the ground always finding a way to pick it up right away or “goosing” it to himself. The New Englander has such great instincts for when to slide and make a play which often results in fast-break opportunities. Any college still looking for a playmaker between the lines should have their phones dialed for Gregory.

Honorable Mention

Zane Hitch, 2023, O’Dea (WA), Cityside
Jesse Woodill, 2022, Sandwich (MA), Kings
Brody Davis, 2023, Seton Hall Prep (NJ), Tri State

2022/23 GOALIE

Carson Quinn | 2023
St Augustine (NJ), SouthShore

Carson is the next goalie in a strong lineage of the South Jersey power St. Augustine Prep. Quinn plays in a dramatic fashion with a very explosive first step to the ball. He tracks the ball very well front above the cage and makes a great first step to quick take away angles and space. His initial reactions for shots down low are extremely quick and he showcases superb athleticism when he makes those saves in addition to how fast he gets back on his feet. The first job of a goalie is to save the ball and Quinn has a knack for that. With more improvement in his passing on the clears and patience there as well, Quinn will only improve to his already stout game.

Honorable Mention

Ian Mcintyre, 2023, Jamesville-Dewitt (NY), Orange Crush
Teddy Kim, 2023, Hotchkiss (CT), 2WAY

2024/25 ATTACK

Josh Heaney | 2024
Philips Andover (MA), Nationals

When you combine talent and toughness you get Heaney. Despite being a bit undersized, Heaney plays a lot bigger than his size and always finds ways to make plays. If Heaney is knocked down seven times, he gets up eight which is what I love about his game. He has great skills initiating from the lefty wing and can create his own shot or use a great fake shot to get his own shot off and finish with great velocity. The crafty attackman is always making plays from the lefty wing either exploding to the middle of the field for a shot or backside look or going hard to the net to finish at a low angle. He has instincts, skills, and toughness which allowed him to put on a show.

Honorable Mention

Walter Osowski, 2024 Kinkaid (TX), Ironhorse
Jack Schultz, 2024, Ridgewood (NJ), NJ Riot
Braedon Chayes, 2024, Pinelake Prep, Carolina Miners (NC)

2024/25 MIDFIELD

James Joel | 2024
Penn Charter (PA), Team 11

The MVP on Friday of the division was consistently finding himself winning faceoffs forward. The 2024 faceoff man not only had one of the best names at the showcase but also one of the best faceoff techniques. He mostly used his quickness to win faceoffs forward but also when tested, he won a few back and would use his wings as well. As a faceoff man you always want to win it but with James, he was not a liability with the ball in his stick as he was able to showcase his talent making decisions with the ball and finding the back of the net a few times as well.

Honorable Mention

Kaden Parsons, 2024, Charlotte Country Day (NC), Team 91 24/7
Jack Schneider, 2024, Belmont Hill (MA), Laxachusetts
Kyle Bergen, 2024, Culver (IN), NXT
Will Mcduffie,2024, Mountain Brook (AL), 7Flames

2024/25 DEFENSE

Palmer Firmender | 2024
Fairfield Prep (CT), Primetime

Palmer is the younger brother of Marco who was an All-Star at our Nike Philly Showcase but instead of being a scoring threat like his brother, Palmer wields a 60-inch pole to terrorize his opponents. He is aggressive off the wings, great down low getting in guys hands, and plays strong angles when defending the ball not allowing guys to get a head start when dodging him. Once he grows into his body he will become bigger and stronger which will allow him to throw more checks and be more aggressive without getting beat.

Honorable Mention

Tyler Quake, 2024, Brunswick (CT), 2Way
Marcus Acevedo, 2024, St John Paul II (FL), Nationals

2024/25 GOALIE

Patrick Hurley | 2025
Memorial (TX), Ironhorse

We had some very talented 2024 and 2025 goalies from all across the country represent so it was hard to pick just one. Yet the biggest difference for Hurley is he was making saves against many players who already had a year of high school lacrosse under their belt. The netminder from Texas was very sturdy in net not allowing many rebounds, or many mistakes when he played. His composure was elite, his stance was balanced, and more importantly, he controlled the game for his defense to allow him to make easy saves but when the defense broke down, he shined with some great saves in tight. Only a 2025, Hurley is one to keep an eye on for the future.

Honorable Mention

Johnny Webb, 2024, Radnor (PA), NXT
Hayes Schreiner, 2024, Springside Chestnut Hill (PA), HHH
