Amanda Kammes is NXT Lacrosse's Director of Girls Events. She played Division I basketball for four years at the University of Pennsylvania and coached at her alma mater and American University. Kammes was the defensive coordinator for Garnet Valley girls' lacrosse 2011 and 2012 state champion teams, was the top assistant and recruiting coordinator for three years at Division I University of California, Davis and is now the head varsity coach at Abington and the NXT Lacrosse Girls Club 2020 team head coach. While Maddie Murphy broke her stick in the first hour of the event she quickly rebounded to be one of the best attackers overall at the event. This player is a true sleeper as I found her stick skills, dodging, speed, and athleticism to be unmatched. With the new recruiting rules, September 1st should be a good day for this very talented 2019.

Kaley Ehnow is a tall, fast, athletic middie that gazelles around the field. She dominated the draw and commanded attention in between the 30s.

Hazel may as well have fire coming out of her heels. She is a dynamic, fast defender that is no non-sense, gritty, and can move the ball through the midfield like a true middie. She has just begun to hit her stride as a serious soccer player with a new found love for lacrosse. Keep your eye on this one as she continues to grow!

Riley is a tall, athletic goalie with quick hands and a voice that leads the defensive third of any field that she steps on. I was most impressed with her presence, quick hands, and speedy clears. Pair that with a lax-head mentality from a non-traditional lacrosse area. This player is a hidden gem, flying under the radar and will be a solid find for any lacrosse program nationally.

Inside Lacrosse Level Nine Recap and Standouts!

NXT Lacrosse hosted its annual Level Nine fall tournament on Nov. 19, with a tangible increase in intensity and high-level lacrosse on display for all in attendance. The invite-only event showcased top 2027 teams from around the country as they competed for A and B division championship titles. Kate Henwood, Executive VP of NXT Girls Lacrosse, touched on the fierce competition.

Sixes For Change x Philabundace

NXT Sixes for Change is a one-day charity sixes lacrosse tournament benefiting the Philabundance foodbank, which serves the Philadelphia and Delaware Valley. Compete for a good cause in the up-tempo sixes lacrosse format! Suggested roster sizes can range from 8-14 players. Each team will be guaranteed four games, with the top teams moving on to bracket play and a chance at the Sixes for Change Cup! Music, food, fun, games, and a festival feel are guaranteed! Clubs can reserve a spot in the event, and 100% of their deposit will go toward fighting hunger in the Philadelphia and Delaware Valley.
