2023 PLAYER PREVIEW

The 12th annual Nike Boys Philly Showcase takes place this Saturday, November 21st, 2020 at United Sports in Downingtown, PA.

The Nike Boys Philly Showcase is North America's premier recruiting event. It annually attracts the nation's top high school recruits and unofficially marks the end of the fall recruiting season. Last year, 255 college coaches—including 91 DI coaches—attended the Showcase.

Below are our players to watch in the class of 2023.

Owen Duffy 2020 Summer Highlights

Owen Duffy (A)
St Anthony's | Team 91 Bandits

Defenses beware, Owen Duffy is an absolute playmaker. The attackman out of Long Island plays for arguably the best 2023 team in the nation in the 91 Bandits and will suit up for a top-five St. Anthony’s team in the Spring. His ability to create offense as both a scorer and feeder is almost unmatched in his class. Add in his lacrosse IQ and his ability to quarterback the offense, Duffy will certainly be filling up the stat sheet come Saturday.

Chrishawn Hunter 2020 Summer Highlights

Chrishawn Hunter (M)
Westtown School | 3d Upstate

Chrishawn Hunter is an athletic downhill dodger from the Westtown School. Don’t let Hunter get a running start or he’s going to blow right past his defender. Overplay him and he’s beating you with a smooth toe-drag or face-dodge. Along with his dodging ability, Hunter possesses some serious range and firepower. He has great size and with his height advantage look for him to make a few plays in transition

Nick De Cain 2020 Summer Highlights (2023 Goalie)

Nick De Cain (G)
Radnor | NXT

The local Philly kid is back after a 2019 Philly Summer Showcase All-Star and Manney’s Men Honorable Mention performance. De Cain has locked up numerous accolades over the past year and a half and his reputation is only growing. He is quick between the pipes and shines when a defense breaks down, he is usually bailing out his defensemen. De Cain’s outlets will give his team numerous chances to push transition on Saturday.

Jackson Wolfram (A)
Brunswick School | Prime Time

Making his Showcase debut on Saturday, Jackson plays for a national powerhouse in the Brunswick School and club for Prime Time. His older brother Greyson (Brown) shined at our showcases before and now the younger brother is ready to make his mark. The natural lefty attackman is a smooth dodger who is creative and willing to get the top side to get his shot off. Not your average finishing lefty attackman, Wolfram looks to make plays with the ball in his stick and should shine well in the showcase format.

Harrison Hanson (2023 Attack) Freshman Spring 2020 Lacrosse Highlights

Harrison Hanson (A)
Austin | Iron Horse Austin

Hailing from Austin, TX, Harrison Hanson is another former Fab-40 All-Star—making the team last year. He is a threat from the wing or behind the cage and only needs a step or two past GLE to find the back of the net. We wouldn’t be surprised to see Hanson back in the Fab-40 All-Star Game

Charleston DeCain (D)
Gonzaga College High School | Next Level

The cousin of the aforementioned Nick DeCain, the cerebral defenseman has been battle-tested over the years for his club program and playing for the nationally-ranked Gonzaga program. He will not wow you with absurd stick checks or be a transition threat but DeCain does the little things well. He picks up groundballs first time, plays good position defense, and is willing to help out his fellow teammates when defenses break down.
