Inside Sales Manager

Summary/Objective
This position will serve as a member of the brand NXT Sports (NXT) within the company 3Step Sports.  The Inside Sales Manager will work closely with the NXT Event Sales team to manage all sales-related data and support all administrative and customer service needs.  This position will be responsible for the accurate maintenance of the registration system, PlayerFirst. This includes registering teams, collecting payments, and managing all accounts receivable.  This role will also assist with schedule creation and editing in Tourney Machine when necessary and serve as an on-site director at events.  The ideal candidate is organized, attentive to detail, and can communicate with customers and coworkers in a highly professional manner.
Essential Functions
  • Manage process for rosters and waiver collection for all NXT events.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and manage event sales databases.
  • Serve as an initial point of contact for incoming customer questions.
  • Check the company mailbox daily, enter check information to the check log and input invoice numbers. Mail checks weekly to 3STEP HQ.
  • Register teams for NXT events.
  • Communicate directly with customers via phone and email.
  • Export AR report and send weekly/monthly updates to Directors.
  • Collect payment for outstanding invoices and/or at time of registration.
  • Email and/or call customers who are past due on their payments weekly until payment is collected.
Seasonal Functions
  • Development of event/tournament schedule – Tourney Machine
  • On-site tournament director
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office setting and at outdoor sporting events. The employee must stand, kneel, or bend for a long time and lift up to 50 pounds. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and camera equipment.  The NXT office is located in Conshohocken, Pa.
Position Type/ Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time, exempt position. The hours of work are Monday through Friday 9am to 5pm. Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required. Some travel is required.
Required Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree from a 4-year accredited University or College.
  • Lacrosse background
  • Fluency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Excellent grammar, strong written and oral communicator
  • Incredible attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management and the ability to handle multiple different projects at once.
  • Clean driving record
Preferred Experience
  • 1-3 years of relevant industry experience.
