NXT Lacrosse hosted its annual Level Nine fall tournament on Nov. 19, with a tangible increase in intensity and high-level lacrosse on display for all in attendance. The invite-only event showcased top 2027 teams from around the country as they competed for A and B division championship titles. Kate Henwood, Executive VP of NXT Girls Lacrosse, touched on the fierce competition.

NXT Sixes for Change is a one-day charity sixes lacrosse tournament benefiting the Philabundance foodbank, which serves the Philadelphia and Delaware Valley. Compete for a good cause in the up-tempo sixes lacrosse format! Suggested roster sizes can range from 8-14 players. Each team will be guaranteed four games, with the top teams moving on to bracket play and a chance at the Sixes for Change Cup! Music, food, fun, games, and a festival feel are guaranteed! Clubs can reserve a spot in the event, and 100% of their deposit will go toward fighting hunger in the Philadelphia and Delaware Valley.

NXT is thrilled to announce that Alexandra Benedict has been hired as its new Girls’ Lacrosse Events Director. A well-respected Division I women’s college lacrosse coach for more than a decade, Benedict will be responsible for leading NXT’s extensive annual portfolio of 21 girls’ lacrosse tournaments and showcases.

February 13th and 27th, NXT has been teaming up with Greenepsych and CHOP to deliver talks on topics that relate to mental health and well-being as well as achieving performance related goals. To join us on this journey, we are extremely fortunate to have Mitch Greene, PhD, Lauren Ruhl, LPC, and Brian Vernau, MD, FAAP, CAQSM.

This past weekend at the Boys Philly Invitational a handful of college coaches showed up for some great talent. Check out who was on the sidelines at one of the premier recruiting events!

The most prominent college coaches in the game were out at the Inaugural NXT High School Challenge to watch the top high school programs in the United States and Canada.

This episode features Mike Corrado, longtime Head Coach of Villanova Men’s Lacrosse. While the guys definitely talk a lot about the Wildcats, we learn about Mike as a teacher, a Twenty-Two year Naval Officer, and how he sees things as a parent of a young athlete who loves multiple sports.

NXT LC was well represented at the 2022 All-America Senior Game and Underclass Games this past weekend. The Senior Game brings together the top 44 high school seniors to play under the lights at Homewood Field while the Underclass Games is known as one of the top events in the summer recruiting window.

It was rain or shine in Westfield, Indiana on July 16th and 17th for the 2022 Grand Prix! 73 College coaches flocked to the high school portion of the event, which showcased both boys and girls clubs from around the country.

The 2022 Continental Cup took place this June 25th and 26th in Conshohocken, PA. The Continental Cup hosted 97 elite high school club teams representing 11 different states from rising freshman through rising seniors

The 2022 Mid-Summer Championships took place this June 23th and 24th in Conshohocken, PA. The Mid-Summer Championships hosted elite high school teams made up of rising sophomores, rising juniors, and rising seniors. This tournament offered something that most don’t, an exciting chance to try their hand at NCAA level rules.

The 2022 Pennsylvania Invitational took place this June 18th and 19th in Downingtown, PA. College coaches packed the sidelines to see the rising seniors, juniors, and sophomores showcase their skills.

NXT continues to represent some of the best in lacrosse as 57 Club members earned all-league honors this season and 6 earned All-American honors. Overall, six members of the Phila Stars, ten members of NXT 2022, fourteen members of NXT 2023, eight member of NXT 2024, and nine member of NXT 2025 were named to various all-league teams.

NXT continues to represent some of the best in lacrosse as 36 Club members earned all-league honors this season and 1 earned All-American honors. Overall, seven members of the Phila Stars, twelve members of NXT 2022, four members of NXT 2023, five members of NXT 2024, two members of NXT 2025, and eight members of the Phila A’s box teams were named to various all-league teams.

The final week of Spring Training brings seven teams to Conshohocken. St. George’s (RI) boys and girls teams, Frederick Gunn boys, Green Farms (CT) boys, Everest (CAN) girls all get here Saturday. The Greenwich Academy (CT) arrives on Monday and Stone Ridge (MD) arrives Tuesday.

Week two brings five more teams to Conshohocken. The Westminster School (CT) boys team, Kimball Union (NH) boys team,  Loomis Chaffee (CT) boys team and our first two girls team of the spring, Loomis Chaffee (CT) and the Pingree School (MA).
