As box lacrosse gains momentum in the US, NXT is powering Phila Box, a full girls box program! Phila Box will focus on educating and serving players who want to improve their skills by playing a different version of lacrosse in the offseason while gaining the opportunity to learn from some of the best box lacrosse coaches in the world!
Phila 99ers Experience
Our youth team is the perfect introduction to box lacrosse. This team will be comprised of elementary school aged girls. The teams will attend 10 training sessions and 3-4 events.
- 10 Training sessions at Steelyard Sports in King of Prussia, PA
- Four tournaments: CT Box Championships (1/16), NXT Playday (1/29-PA), Dewlax Playday (2/11-NJ), Legacy Playday (2/18-Long Island)
- Elite coaching from former NLL & Team USA coaches
- Goalie coach
- Phila Box jersey
- You will play with “boys sticks” with deeper pockets, to enable more ball control on each touch.
- A full value proposition and pricing will be available in conjunction with tryouts
Required Equipment
“Boys” stick, helmet (included), gloves, chest protector, elbow pads, and mouthguard. Kidney pads are strongly recommended!
