New England Box Lacrosse

Introducing the Connecticut Box Championships - NXT's newest box lacrosse event. As the sport continues to expand NXT will continue to bring you best-in-class box lacrosse events. 

Connecticut neighbors multiple lacrosse hotbeds including Long Island, New York State, and Massachusetts which ensures top-level competition without a difficult trip. 

The Connecticut Box Championships includes boys and girls divisions. The girls will compete on Monday, January 16th. 

We think about the details so you don't have to.

Family-Friendly Scheduling:  Each division will be completed in the morning or afternoon block of games. Half of the day in the rink, the other experiencing Connecticut & the surrounding areas.



  • Deposit Due: Upon Registration


  • USBOXLA rules
  • One 30-second timeout per game
  • 30-second shot clock
  • Certified USBOXLA officials
  • Teams play 5 v 5 (plus goalies)
  • 3 x 10 min running time periods
  • 2 min rest between periods
  • The last-minute of the 3rd period is stop time
  • The game clock starts on the hour, whether teams are ready or not.  Any team in violation will be given a 2min delay of game penalty
  • Each team has the opportunity to use professional quality box goalie equipment
  • Championship format - 3-game guarantee
