2023 Atlantic Showcase Manney’s Men

2023 MANNEY’S MEN

Another successful Atlantic Showcase in the books. Featuring elite 2024, 2025, 2026, and 2027 grad-year players from across the country. All participants competed fast and hard in front of elite-level college coaches. Here are Brett Manney’s standout players from this year’s showcase!

Brett Manney is a 15-year professional lacrosse player, captain of the Albany Firewolves, and two-time captain for the USA National Indoor team, serving as the VP of Recruiting at NXT. He won two bronze medals with the USA National Indoor Team. He played on Delaware’s 2007 Final Four team, captained the 2008 team, made the North-South All-Star Game, and is the driving force behind Showcase Lacrosse’s nationally-known events. Manney sees players from all over the country at NXT events.

ATTACK

Zac Dupill, 2024, Bridgeland (TX), UNRL

This year’s Atlantic Showcase was loaded with a ton of lefties and Dupill certainly lead the pack at the attack. Not the flashiest player, not the tallest, but he just made plays. He rides hard on attack, gets to his left hand and just finds ways to score with a quick release. His goals were always earned by dodging hard to the middle of the field and making the most of his opportunities when he got them.

MIDFIELD

Luke Mingioni, 2024, Garnet Valley (PA), NXT

An incredible story for the MVP as he tore his ACL in the fall and now picked up the prestigious honor of the best player at the event. The newly minted Drexel commit played pesty 1v1 defense and made great plays between the lines. It was Mingioni who sparked his teams offense usually with a hard lefty sweep and then showing some great range with his shot as well. After a season of unknown Mingioni balled out at the Showcase and it helped seal the deal for his commitment to the Dragons.

DEFENSE

Mason Cage, 2024, IMG (FL), VLC

The once 2023, is now trying the make the most of his opportunities as a 2024 and did at that the showcase. The Virginia native was aggressive playing defense down low and was able to enforce his physical stature on attackmen. Cage is not afraid to get on hands, throw some checks and carry the ball from defense to offense. With some additional looks, Cage could fit into a program nicely as a late add.

GOALIE

Riley Hunter, 2025, Bridgeland (TX), UNRL

Hunter hails from the same small Texas program as Dupill, Bridgeland, and just like Dupill he stole the show. Hunter played his best during the day when he was bailing out his teammate withs some incredible instinct saves to showcase his ability to stop the ball. He stands out 6 feet tall but showed great ability to get the ball down low. His communication was solid pointing out slides and dangerous players as well throughout the day. Only a 2025, Hunter has the ability to only get better.
